Pump Control Panel

Cryogenic Pump Control Unit

Pump Control Panel

The cryogenic pump control panel is a system developed by PLC & Process ensuring standardized and automated management of the cryogenic pumping process. Designed to minimize operator interventions, it is capable of automatically starting the pump, detecting cavitations, and configuring a number of consecutive degassings after a cavitation-related temperature fault.

Process Management & Sensors

  • Temperature probes (4 standards): Liquid temperature, Pump outlet temperature, Leak detection temperature, Vaporizer outlet temperature.
  • Pressure sensors: Sensor on the line after the vaporizer, and pressure sensor for the buffer.
  • Tank control: Storage tank pressure and level sensors management.
  • Buffer management: Complete control including buffer filling.

Automatic Valves Control

  • Product valve.
  • Return valve.
  • Degassing valve.
  • Purge / HP buffer valve.
  • Heater bypass valve: to allow "cold filling".

Interface & Security

  • Operator control: Main power disconnect, emergency stop, reset push button, local start button, local stop button, and Auto/Local selector switch.
  • Signaling: Run light and alarm light.
  • HMI Interface: 10" touch screen with integrated RFID card reader.
  • Safety: SIL-3/4 board.
